Rescued Howler Monkey Released to the Wild - has baby.

Colombia and South Lakes Wild Animal Park are celebrating news just in that one of those rescued Red Howler Monkeys, which underwent successful rehabilitation and was released back to the forest has just been photographed with a baby of her own.

This is fantastic news - these monkeys who have gone through terrible, horrific starts in life can, with the right care and effort, have successful futures as wild monkeys.

“This baby is a light of hope that reinforces our commitment with our conservation cause” -Jorge Villa, Colombia

A big thank you has to go out to people from all over the World  who have adopted and supported these rescued howler monkeys, the money from which goes directly to fund their rehabilitation and release back into the wild tropical forest in Colombia.
