More photos from the Spectacled Bear Conservation Programme

Some pics of toruists watching a wild bear – a different one!! This is a young female. The male is still in the area as well. We suspect they may be brother and sister.  The main problem is that they are eating all the bromeliads around the lodge buildings etc. when there is no one there which is annoying Ana. Some 40 people saw the female on Sunday including Heinz’s 80+ year old mother who was visiting for the day.  She was watched for about 2 hours and approached the people to a distance of about 8 m at one point. Some of the tourists also saw a Pampas Cat during their visit.
